The Process
The process begins with you posting a request for resources via your
individual login area using the online template to capture your
requirements. This template gives you full control over your costs and
candidate profiling.
This stage is one of the most important because you will be setting out
the criteria for the person you are looking to recruit and also
providing the search engine with the means to find and select the
candidates.
Once the candidates have been located they are sent an alert message
telling them that they have been shortlisted for a potential Contract. This
gives the candidate the chance to view the Contract description and determine
whether they are interested.
Within three days of posting the Contract (depending on your requirements)
you will be alerted that the new candidates’ eCV's are available for
viewing. It is at this stage that you will determine who you accept,
decline or place in our ‘waiting room’ for further interview and
consideration.
At this stage there are a variety of processes depending on the specific
functionality that exists in your Client Contacts login area*. The basic
process will allow you to accept the candidates you would like to
interview and trigger an exchange between you and the candidate. You
will be sent their contact details and they will wait to be contacted by
you.
Once you have interviewed and made your final selection and the final
terms and conditions have been agreed we can complete our process.
Profiling![]()
Once the search and select process begins, the Contract specification that
you construct from our resource template will form the criteria for the
candidate profiling.
The match of candidates to your requirements is done by matching
keywords from your requirements with the candidate’s eCV. These are then
listed in order depending on the number of keyword matches.
The search engine will only accept those candidates whose e-CVs contain
more than 65% of the key words from your resource template and will then
deliver these to your login area for review.
The identity of the Client is not disclosed at anytime unless it is a
feature of the Contract specification or you disclose it to the Contractor
after selection is completed.
The unique approach to costs and fees
Client Contacts has a unique approach to generating its income that not
only creates a free marketplace for Clients and Contractors to meet but
also produces
a transparent process between what is paid out and what is received.
By charging each Contractor who works via Client Contacts a small fee
(5% of daily rate)
we have eliminated the need to charge Clients for the use of the
services we provide.
The main benefit of this approach is that you save on third party fees
and the Contractor benefits from knowing that what you see is what you
get. In most instances the Contractors will see their rates increase as
a result of the saving that you are making by using this system to
resource.
Transparency
The design of the Client Contacts business model is built on clarity of
process, be it charges or contractual and non-contractual obligation.
We charge every Contractor a percentage of their daily rate when they
start invoicing. This means for example that for every £100 they earn we
will invoice them for anything up to £5 at the end of each month. Once
the Contract ends so does the fee charged and they return to the pool of
available candidates within our database.
Contractual
obligations
There are no direct contractual obligations between Client Contacts and
Clients, however, we do operate under the guidelines of the Data
Protection Act and Contractor data confidentiality is paramount. The
passing of any Contractor information obtained from Client Contacts to a
third party is prohibited.
There is a contractual agreement between candidates and Client Contacts
stating that a Contractor will pay Client Contacts a percentage of their
daily rate. If a Contractor is approached, or approaches the Client
directly, within 24 months of ceasing the original Contract the
candidate is contractually bound to inform us and resume the fee
payments.
* The process will differ between Clients due to their requirements
and therefore we have developed a number of modules to meet your
